We are pleased that you are considering Annai Veilankanni's Matriculation Higher Secondary School for your child. Admissions are offered subject to availability, age and academic eligibility, submission of required documents and the rules of the school and Government authorities.
Admission Procedure
Enquire
Contact or visit the school office to enquire about seat availability and obtain current admission information.
Application Form
Complete the prescribed application form with accurate student and parent / guardian details.
Document Verification
Submit the required certificates and supporting documents for verification.
Interaction / Assessment
The student should attend the admission interaction or academic assessment, if requested by the school.
Fee Formalities
On confirmation of admission, complete the fee formalities within the time specified by the school office.
Documents Required
For Pre-KG
- Birth Certificate — photocopy
- Recent passport-size photographs and any additional documents requested in the current application form
For LKG and Above
- Birth Certificate — photocopy
- Community Certificate — photocopy, where applicable
- Original Transfer Certificate from the previous school
- Previous class Mark Sheet / Progress Report, where applicable
- Recent passport-size photographs and any additional documents requested by the school
Higher Secondary Eligibility
Students seeking admission to Standards XI and XII must have passed the Matriculation, CBSE, SSLC, ICSE or Anglo-Indian examination, as applicable, and must submit a valid school-leaving / Transfer Certificate and supporting academic records.
CBSE students may be required to submit certificates countersigned by the competent authority and an Eligibility Certificate issued by the appropriate educational authority, in accordance with current Government rules.
Admission, Tuition & Other Fees
Admission, tuition and other applicable school fees must be paid according to the schedule communicated by the school office. Fees once paid are ordinarily non-refundable, subject to school policy and applicable law. Parents are requested to retain official receipts for all payments.
Withdrawal & Transfer Certificate
Parents seeking a Transfer Certificate should submit a written request on or before 30 March of the academic year, or within the period announced by the school.
The Transfer Certificate will be issued after all dues are cleared and a No Due Certificate is obtained from the school office.
